Status report

I was busy doing something from my boss recently, and stop taking care of my project page.
Outside working hours, I try to rewrite new backend for some requirement from myself, my friend, and other users.
The prototype of new Urlgfe backend changed many times in this period and it is still unstable.

This new backend can suffice follow requirement:
1. Plug-in base protocol implement.
2. New command line parameter, include non-interactive function (No confirm dialog). Some parameter format like wget one.
3. Libcurl backend support two HTTP header - "Content-Location:" and "Location:".
4. Libcurl backend support HTTP user and password.

Writing next version

I decide to implement below features after getting some ideas.
1. Support more feature of flashgot.
2. Parse HTTP header.
3. Tray-icons, command line enhancement, and others ?

Urlgfe 0.98

Fix bugs and add new translations :

1. Implement Command line parameter and fix many bugs.
2. Reduce number of modal dialog.

Urlgfe 0.96 Beta

A beta version before 1.0 :

1. Works more smooth and more stable.
2. Support Perl Compatible Regular Expression (pcre) for clipboard monitoring.
3. Command parameter doesn't implement yet (in progress).
4. Base on GTK+ 2.4, libcurl 7.11, and pcre 4.5

CVS updated

The future Urlgfe (maybe version 1.0) source code was uploaded. Only a workable core library - urlglib will be about to complete.
Run the following commands to get it.

Status report

Completed works :

1. The queueing code rewrite totally, it works very well in Windows and Linux.
(Maybe I can remove the wording "Alpha" in this Windows version)
2. If you keep referer field emptily, program will generate it via URL when downloading.
3. Refine downloading dialog.
4. Add some "View" control. You may descry some functions in screenshot.

Uncompleted works :

1. Import and export was broken.
2. Batch mode need rewrite... :~(
3. Many works from my officer/boss... :)

Features of the next version

1. Base on GTK+ 2.4/2.6.
2. Rewrite new code for multiple category/download queueing to resolve problem in Win32 platform.
3. Catch one or more URL from clipboard.
4. Refine user interface.
